인간다움은 무엇인가 _무채색의 얼굴 [ LiNe + NaTUrE +OrNamEnt ]

하루에 우리를 스쳐 지나가는 사람은 몇 명이나 될까?

끊임없이 만나고 지나치며 감정을 나누기도 하고,

직접 교감하지 않아도 SNS를 통해 전 세계를 넘나든다.

<인간다움이란 무엇인가_무채색의 얼굴>은

드로잉 시리즈 ‘사람을 담다‘의 연작으로

‘지금, 여기’ 인간의 권리를 되새기며 인간답게 살아가는 사람들을 주목하며,

인간과 자연의 상생 주제를 본질적으로 되짚어보려는 전시이다.

순수한 어린이의 얼굴,

교복에 갇힌 청소년들의 안타까운 그들만의 리그,

성적과 취업 사이를 맴도는 가식적인 무표정,

이해도 교감도 가냘프기만 한 성소수자와 장애인들,

타지에서 낯선 풍습을 삭이며 살아가야 하는 외국인의 표정 등……,

오늘날을 살아가는 여러 얼굴 드로잉들은

이번 전시를 위해 기록된 다양한 ‘무채색의 디아스포라’들이다.

단숨에 그려낸 ‘한 선 그리기’의 얼굴들은

어떤 생각도 담지 않은, 자유롭고 객관적인 무심함을 표출한다.

일체의 선입견을 배제한 채

무심하게 무채색으로 그려낸 군상들,

그 표정과 일상을 최소한의 기법으로 금속에 담아낸다.

How many people pass by us in a day?

They constantly meet, pass by, share feelings, and travel across the world through SNS without having to interact directly.

<What is Humanity? _ Face of achromatic color> is a series of <Contain people>.

It is an exhibition that reflects on human rights 'now, here', pays attention to people who live like humans, and reflects on the theme of coexistence between humans and nature.

Pure children's faces, the sad leagues of youths in school uniforms, fictitious expressionlessness between grades and employment, sexual minorities, people with disabilities and sympathetic sympathies, and expression of foreigners who have to live away from unfamiliar customs etc.... The various face drawings that live today are the various 'colorless diasporas' recorded for this exhibition.

The faces of 'one line drawing' drawn at once express free and objective indifference without any thought. Without any preconceived prejudice, the large groups of people, who are inadvertently painted in achromatic colors, express their expressions and everyday life in metal with minimal techniques.
